Fees & Payments
Dr. Pearis is an out-of-network provider for all health insurance plans. Most health insurance plans have out-of-network provider benefits which allow for partial to full reimbursement to patients for payments made to out-of-network providers. These benefits can be determined by calling the health insurance provider to verify behavioral health benefits. When patients are seen by Dr. Pearis, a billing statement including CPT and diagnostic codes, National Provider Identification and Federal Tax ID numbers are provided to patients to facilitate convenient reimbursement.
Payment is required at the time of service. Check, Visa and Mastercard are accepted methods of payment. Please call for current evaluation/session rates.
Prescription Refills
Prescription refills are given to last until you need to be seen next. Therefore, the last authorized refill serves as a reminder to schedule a follow up appointment within the next 2-3 weeks before the refill runs out. If a refill of your medication is needed to tide you over, a two week refill can be given. Please call the office number at 401-521-1400 and follow the prompts and leave a message for a prescription refill request.
Emergencies
In situations of imminent risk, Dr. Pearis can be reached by calling her cell phone (401) 368-7693 and leaving a message. Due to the nature of having an outpatient practice, it may not be possible for an immediate response. If a situation requires an immediate response, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital.
